I am a highly introspective artist and photographer, captivated by the beauty of life’s everyday moments. Through my lens, I capture the essence of the mundane, transforming it into a permanent testament to time’s fleeting nature. My work navigates the complexities of change and the poignant beauty of transience, reflecting a deep, personal journey marked by love, loss, and the inevitable passage of time.
My process finds a sense of calm through the consistency of the photography process, preserving each image as a moment once loved, not just in the grand events but in the every day and the often overlooked. Each photograph is a deliberate act of holding onto a moment, serving as an archive of a profoundly personal past.
My collection, “A Love Letter to Life,” transcends mere photography, introducing the viewer to tangible memory. This reflection in time is an homage to my experiences as I delve deep into themes of projection, observation, and separation through an emerging practice in video art installation. In “Projected Love”, I project memories on myself and invite the viewer into a shared journey of introspection. This blurs the lines between the observer and the observed, fostering a shared reflection on the meaning and value of memory, uncovering the beauty in the ordinary, and engaging viewers in a dialogue about the spaces between presence and absence, self and other, and the deeper connections in everyday life.
